LISA Foundation is a platform where people can buy a share of physical artworks, from as little as $1, using blockchain to keep track of who owns what.

Buying art is hard if you’re new to it. Waitlists can last years, the best deals happen privately and fees are high. LISA needed a product that made owning art feel open, simple and trustworthy.

What we did

For over two years we led product strategy and product design, taking LISA from an idea to a working product. We designed discovery, buying a share, onboarding, the wallet and the owner experience on web and mobile, and mapped out the tokenomics and customer journey. The brand identity was designed by our partners at Imaginary Service.

In closed beta, two of the first three releases sold out: $105k in sales to 257 collectors. The launch centred on Magdalena Abakanowicz’s Walking Figures with the Vancouver Biennale.
